The Circleville Pumpkin Show Community Band

The Circleville Pumpkin Show Community Band was formed in 1979, and performs at various community events and functions throughout the year. Of course, their premiere performance every year is at the Circleville Pumpkin Show, where they appear in parades and in concert at the Circleville-Pickaway Visitors Pavilion. The band consists of approximately 60 members from all walks of life and ages, from a 12 year old student to an 87 year old retiree. The Pumpkin Show Band is directed by David Winner, and performs show tunes, overtures, and marches.


Stages is a local classic rock band with our members performing around Central and Southern Ohio for the last 25 years. We are excited to play our first Pumpkin Show and hope to see everyone there.

Stages will be performing on the West Main Stage Tuesday, October 17th at 8pm.

Charmion Performing Arts Center

Charmion Performing Arts Center, located at 400 North Court Street, Circleville, offering professional dance and fitness instruction for children ages 2-18 and Adult Dance Classes. Skill levels, beginner through advance, with weekly classes being offered in Preschool dance, Kinder Dance, Creative movement, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Kids Hip-Hop, Cheerleading, Gymnastic, Musical Theatre, Urban Hip Hop and Competition Dance.

Charmion Performing Arts Center National Award-Winning Competition Team, has received the White Diamond Award and 1st Place Awards at National Competitions for the past several years. Charmion PAC is owned and directed by Marc and Heidi Rogols. Heidi has over 30 years of teaching experience and is a Certified Dance Educator, with Dance Masters of America and Ohio, Dance Educators of America, I.D.E.A, Y.P.A.D, CLI Studios.

Next Exit Band

We're Next Exit, an accomplished cover band playing dance & party rock favorites across Ohio and beyond (7 states so far). We have the experience of over 800 performances under our belt and the good time we have on stage is contagious. Our motivation continues to be having fun playing music that excites people and gets them involved, be it dancing, singing along or joining the guys on stage for a cowbell solo!

Next Exit will be performing on Wednesday October 19th 7:00-8:00pm on the West Main Stage.

Down Beat Percussion

DownBeat Percussion is a high energy performing group composed of world class entertainers from all over Ohio, Including members of the Cleveland Brown Drumline!

DownBeat Percussion will be performing on Circleville Pumpkin Show West Main Stage Thursday October 19th 5:30 - 6:00pm.

The Circleville Men's Barbershop Chorus

The Circleville Men's Barbershop Chorus, directed by Terry Anderson, sings a Capella choral music, frequently in the Barbershop style. They practice at the Circleville Presbyterian Church, and enjoy performing at area events and during the Christmas season. For more information, check out their page on Facebook.

Xperience Music

Xperience Music consists of students of Marty Hayes at Studio 1 in Circleville, Ohio. We play guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, banjo, and sing. We generally jam to classic rock of the 60's & 70's such as Kiss, the Beatles, and Heart. We have played at the Pumpkin Show for the past two years and plan to continue this new tradition. We also play at benefit concerts and have other yearly shows. We are looking to record as a band or separately as needed. We are taught nothing but the best from Marty, an alumnus of the Berkley College of Music in Boston, from learning about reading music, theory and harmony, to just having fun on stage and jamming with the other students. We each have a half hour class each week to learn about different aspects of the music world.

Xperience will be performing Thursday October 19th at 6:30pm on West Main Stage.

YMCA Creative Arts Center

This is YMCA Creative Arts Center's 27th year in Circleville offering classes through the Pickaway County Family YMCA. We offer dance, baton, art & theatre classes to kids ages 2-18 and have an Extraordinary Dance class for all ages for those with special needs. The YMCA Creative Arts Center will be performing on Thursday October 19th at 11:30am on West Main Stage.

Acme Music with John LaFollette

John LaFollette, a popular Central Ohio vocalist/guitarist, captures the music of the 50s, 60s, 70s, Blues, Folk, and Rock and Roll. He performs favorites from: The Beatles, Eagles, CCR, Jim Croce, James Taylor, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Johnny Cash, Elvis, and Gordon Lightfoot, just to name a few.

John's current venues include: the Ohio State Fair, the Columbus Zoo, Coshocton's First Fridays, Northland International Festival, Civic and Charitable events. This is the 5th year John is performing for the Circleville Pumpkin Show. John Lafollette will be performing on Friday October 20th 1:00-2:00pm at the East Franklin Stage.

Gospel Harmony Boys

Gospel Harmony Boys is a name that's been synonymous with gospel music for more than 60 years. They are celebrating their 65rd Anniversary this year and they continue to travel as one of the most respected names in gospel music today.

This group of men is truly blessed with a wonderful talent and they have appeared at venues throughout the United States and Canada presenting the very best in great Southern Gospel music concerts. They were the first gospel quartet to ever appear on a nationally televised program, they have numerous songs that have reached the National Music Charts and they are charter members of the Christian Music Hall of Fame in Dallas, Texas along with Mahalia Jackson, The Cathedrals, Bill Gaither, and Elvis Presley.

Gospel Harmony Boys will be performing on West Main Stage Friday October 20th 1:30pm.

Mother Hubbard

Mother Hubbard was born in 1998, formed by lead singer/lead guitarist Travis Brown. Travis grew up in central Ohio and is a self-taught musician. He was heavily influenced by the likes of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, The Who and many more. He has the uncanny ability to channel the artist that he is performing from The Doors to Willie Nelson and everyone in between. Jeff Meek brings a full and unique bass guitar sound to the band along with harmony vocals. Jeff has played with Travis for over 16 years. Mother Hubbard has played all over Central Ohio for 19 years, including a trip to New York City playing in Greenwich Village. Some notable performances include opening for The Charlie Daniels Band and Georgia Satellites. The band brings an authentic, entertaining performance to each show. Mother Hubbard is THE definitive Classic Rock n Roll Band!

Mothman Classic Rock/Country Blues

Formed in 1990, "Mothman" is a band that enjoys performing many different styles of popular music. We try to perform over 100 shows a year, the bulk of our work is in clubs playing cover music ranging from lighter classic rock, blues, a few country numbers and everything in-between. The band also stays active recording original music and looks forward to the summer/fall festival circuit. Nathan Boyce & The Sweet Talkers-American Rock and Roll

Nathan Boyce has had a passion for music from an early age. Growing up listening to the music that his father played from the likes of Tom Petty, the Beatles, Traveling Wilbury's and Bob Dylan quickly helped to shape musical role models for him to look up to. His passion for music eventually lead him to pick up the guitar.

Nathan has been writing songs for years with past bands and musicians. With the years of experience in songwriting he has begun to mold his own future as a singer songwriter. With his love for music and guitar in hand he compiled soon to be hit songs for his first solo album "Style and Grace".

As his passion grows so does the impact that he has on his audience and followers. With every lyric and every chord the passion continues to drive him into what he feels he was born to do.

Simba Jordan "Urban Cowboy"

Growing up in the Columbus, Ohio area, where Rock & Roll, R&B and Hip-Hop reign, Simba's mother, a jazz singer who worked the clubs around Columbus, introduced him to music. "At home my brother and I would sing harmony with my mother to old jazz tunes, and at my grandparents home I would listen to albums by Kenny Rogers and Conway Twitty and watch TV shows like Dolly Parton and Hee Haw." Simba absorbed and enjoyed it all, the Jazz, Motown, R&B and Hip-Hop, but what he came to love the most was Country. "I kind of consider myself the "Urban Cowboy," Jordan says, smiling. "It was like a lot of parts of my life were country, but I grew up in the city."

Steve Gaines Comedy

Steve Gaines is a husband of 20 years, father of 8, daytime punching bag for Corporate America & a little league soccer coach. He's the father of the year on the outside but on the inside he's a raging lunatic who takes the stage to get his revenge on a world that takes itself far too seriously.

A Club & Touring veteran whose worked with the likes of Christopher Titus, TVs Kevin Meaney, John Hinton, Vince Morris, Vic Clevenger & Keith Terry to name a few, "Pops" discusses marriage, fatherhood, the miseries of life in a cubicle, bad family members, reality television, cowboys & the pathetic American government.

Steve Gaines will be performing Friday October 20th at 12pm on the East Franklin/Pickaway Stage.

Larry Roark

Larry Roark has done karaoke shows for over 20 years and has been entertaining visitors to the Circleville Pumpkin Show since 2005.

His huge selection of music ensures that whatever song you want to sing he will have. So come on down and let everyone hear your vocal talents or just give a listen. Hope to see you there

The Rainey's

The Rainey's return to The Pumpkin Show with their signature family vocals and great musicianship.

Combining dynamic original material with great songs of the past 40 years, the Rainey's have been a popular act in Central Ohio for over a decade.

The Rainey's are Dave Rainey (guitar and vocals) and daughters Jenny (vocals) and Megan (piano, flute, accordion and vocals). They are from Ashville.

Don't miss a great opportunity to see this talented family on stage at the Circleville Pumpkin Show.

The Rainey's will be performing Saturday October 21st at 1:30pm.

Don Ervin and Company

Don Ervin is a vocalist who is comfortable singing in many genres'. Whether it be singing Broadway standards on stages across the country, or singing the national anthem at civic or sporting events or singing classic rock and pop with his horn driven band, "Don Ervin and Kicking Brass". Don is excited to share this collection of some of the best musicians in the Midwest to the Pumpkin Show Stage. They play classic rock and pop with the added blast of a first-class horn section. These musicians have played venues as intimate as jazz clubs in the Short North to sold out concerts at the Ohio Theatre. A little sassy but always classy.... this is Don Ervin and Kicking Brass.

Don Ervin and Company will be performing on West Main Stage Saturday October 21st at 7pm.

Family Heritage Music

A night with Family Heritage is most "Uplifting & Encouraging". They are best-known for their spirit filled singing and use of more than one genre of music to convey the message of Christ, which gives them an exclusive asset to the ministry of God.

Family Heritage, the winner of the "2005 Horizon Award", "2006 Band of the Year Award", and winner of the "2008 Bluegrass Group of the Year" by the Ohio Christian Music Association, is a Southern Gospel "Family" group, with a Live Band. They are one of the few groups that still have that "Family Harmony Sound," that is often rare and hard to find. Family Heritage is scheduled over a hundred dates a year, ministering to people of all ages. They have recorded 17 albums, just releasing their newest album "Changes" in October 2009.

Family Heritage has traveled continuously in the Eastern United States, performing at Churches, Fairs, Youth Retreats, Family Reunions, Christmas Concerts, and many other various events. This family is very blessed by the talent that God has given them.
